On October 27, 2021, a scientific seminar on "Modern Azerbaijani language: realities, problems and challenges" was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU).

Tehsil.biz reports that the seminar, organized online via the Zoom platform, was attended by members of the university's faculty, students and graduate students.

The scientific-practical seminar, moderated by the head of the Department of Humanities of the Moscow State University, associate professor Esmira Jafarova, began with presentations on the reports included in the program.

Director of the Monitoring Center under the State Language Commission, Professor Sevinj Aliyeva "Overview of the application of the Azerbaijani language", Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities Namaz Manafov "Problems of spelling and orthoepy in the Azerbaijani language", Senior Lecturer Rahila Mammadova "Speech culture in universities" "Modern problems of the Azerbaijani language: punctuation marks and emphasis", senior teacher Maarifa Manafova "Azerbaijani toponyms are the historical memory of our language and people", teacher Sabina Novruzova "Problems in teaching the Azerbaijani language in primary school and their solutions Ways ”and teacher Svetlana Nasibli made presentations on“ Problems that complicate the teaching of common words on the main parts of speech ”.

There was a wide exchange of views on the interesting reports and the questions were answered in detail.

It should be noted that MSU pays special attention to the participation of academic staff in various formats for this purpose, focusing on the creation of the necessary conditions for results-oriented research on topical issues in relevant areas.
