On October 28, 2021, the rector of Mingachevir State University (MSU) Shahin Bayramov attended the 115th anniversary of the Kiev National Economic University (KNEU).
The anniversary was attended by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Deputy Minister of Science and Education, representatives of the Central Bank and many other government agencies, rectors of foreign and local universities, heads of private companies and well-known university graduates.
Welcoming the jubilee participants, KNEU Rector Dmitry Lukianenko spoke about the historical development of the university and its achievements. Noting that KNEU's position in the Ukrainian higher education space is strengthening year by year, Lukianenko spoke about the work done to improve the quality of training, increase the efficiency of research, develop international cooperation and international accreditation of higher education programs and future strategic goals.
Speaking at the event, the rector of Moscow State University Sh.Bayramov expressed satisfaction with the participation in the anniversary ceremony of KNEU, one of the most prestigious universities in the friendly country, and thanked the university administration for the invitation. Emphasizing that KNEU has a special place in the higher education system in Ukraine, Bayramov said that thousands of graduates of the partner university have made significant contributions to the overall development of the national economy.
Describing KNEU as an exemplary educational institution where 115 years of rich traditions are combined with modern teaching methods and advanced research tools, Bayramov spoke about the current state of mutually beneficial cooperation between KNEU and MSU and called for strengthening this cooperation. valued as a contribution. On behalf of the MSU family, Bayramov congratulated the leadership and staff of KNEU on the significant event and wished them new success.
Within the framework of the anniversary, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between MSU and KNEU and souvenirs were presented.
It was noted that the memorandum provides for the development of potential cooperation in areas of mutual interest for both universities, including student and teacher exchange, joint educational programs, research, scientific conferences, forums and other joint activities.
It should be noted that MSU, which aims to become a university of a new era, attaches special importance to cooperation with leading foreign universities, including KNEU. Since March of this year, a series of mutual lectures have been held within the framework of cooperation between the two universities, and members of the academic and administrative staff of MSU have actively participated in conferences and seminars organized online at KNEU.
