Today, an intellectual knowledge contest dedicated to the memory of the martyred graduate of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AUAC) Rauf Ibadov was held.

Rauf's father Maharram Ibadov, dean of the Faculty of Construction and Technology Tahira Hagverdiyeva and students from all faculties took part in the competition initiated by the Student Trade Union Committee of the University.

Before the competition, the memory of our heroic sons, who were killed in the 44-day war, was commemorated with a minute of silence and prayers were said for their souls. Bayram Aslanov, the chairman of THIK, and Tahira Hagverdiyeva, the dean, advised the youth to follow the example of our martyrs, to love and protect the Motherland as they did. Maharram Ibadov also thanked the university administration, dean, THIK for the attention and care shown to the martyrs and wished the young people success in the competition.

In the competition, which was held with great excitement and interest, the students competed in teams. The first place was taken by the team of the Faculty of Water Resources and Engineering Communication Systems, the second place was taken by the team of the Faculty of Architecture. The winners were awarded diplomas and prizes.
