On October 29, 2021, Rector of Mingachevir State University (MSU) Shahin Bayramov visited Kiev National University of Technology and Design (KNUTD) as part of his visit to Ukraine.

Welcoming the rector of Moscow State University, KNUTD rector Ivan Grishenko said they were interested in cooperation with Azerbaijani universities. Grishenko gave detailed information about the development of KNUTD, which celebrated its 90th anniversary last year, and spoke about the areas of staff training at the university. Speaking about the potential areas of cooperation with MSU, I. Grishenko expressed confidence in the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two universities.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, the rector of Moscow State University Sh. Bayramov stressed that there are wide opportunities for the development of comprehensive cooperation with the 90-year-old KNUTD. Noting that staff training in relevant specialties is carried out at both universities, Bayramov spoke about the concrete work that can be done in the field of education, research and joint projects. Expressing satisfaction with the activity of the Azerbaijan Center at KNUTD, Bayramov said he believed that the establishment of cooperation with the rapidly renewing higher education institution of the friendly country would contribute to strengthening the potential of MSU.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between MSU and KNEU at the meeting and gifts were presented.

Then the rector of MSU Sh.Bayramov visited the Azerbaijan Center at KNUTD and got acquainted with the existing infrastructure and laboratories of the university.

It should be noted that the expansion of international cooperation is in the focus of attention at MSU, which is currently in the process of modernization.
