The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at Ganja State University. Council members first observed a minute of silence in memory of Fakhraddin Mammadov, Vice-Rector for Education and Training Technologies of Ganja State University, who passed away recently.

Then the rector congratulated the dean of the faculty of biology and chemistry of the university Isfandiyar Alverdiyev on his scientific degree and wished him greater success in his future scientific activity. He then worked for many years at the university and presented honorary diplomas to the retired senior staff.

After the rector of the university, Professor Yusif Yusibov acquainted the members of the council with the issues on the agenda, the report of Jabbar Garayev, the head of the Experience and Career Department on the work done in connection with the organization of pedagogical and internships for graduate students was heard.

The Scientific Council heard and discussed the reports of the heads of the faculties of foreign languages, ecology and nature protection, anatomy, physiology and zoology, as well as the French language for 5 years.

The current issues were considered after the rector of the university, professor Yusif Yusibov informed the members of the council about the structural changes made at the university.
