Rector of the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov met with First Vice President of the Italian Maire Tecnimont Group Cianni Bardazzi and head of the Azerbaijani representative office of the subsidiary KT-Kinetics Technology Niccolo Heilpern.

Expressing satisfaction with seeing the guest at the University, the rector spoke about the successful cooperation with the Maire Tecnimont Group, Tehsil.biz reports. He stressed that as a result of this cooperation, BANM students have the opportunity to participate in internship programs organized by the company. Elmar Gasimov said that the University has developed a training program on alternative energy sources and offered the company to support in this direction.

An official of the Maire Tecnimont Group stressed the importance of cooperation with BANM, welcomed the offer and said he was ready to give lectures to students. Speaking about the expansion of cooperation, Gianni Bardazzi said that as a result of successful cooperation with BANM, 12 graduates work in various positions at Kinetics Technology.

The meeting discussed the importance of the transition to renewable energy sources, the application of digitalization in this area, the transformation into "green chemistry", the teaching of new technologies to students.

The sides also exchanged views on holding joint seminars with the relevant Italian university.
