Professor Huseyn Orujov, head of the Electronics Department of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), has died of a coronavirus.

This was reported to Report by AzTU.

 

It was noted that Orujov graduated from the Physics Department of the Azerbaijan State University (now Baku State University) in 1970.

 

Since 1990 he has been engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities at the Department of Physics of AzTU, since 1995 as an associate professor, since 2009 as a professor.

 

In 2010, he was appointed head of the Department of Electronics at AzTU. In 2011, he was re-elected to this position through a competition.

 

He is the author of more than 120 scientific works, two textbooks for university students, four textbooks and teaching aids, one test book for applicants. For his services to the development of education in Azerbaijan in 2011 he was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Teacher" by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

Huseyn Orujov took an active part in the training of young scientists.
