The traditions of statehood in Azerbaijan began to emerge in the millennia BC. Both in ancient times and in the Middle Ages, the states that existed in Azerbaijan were able to develop and preserve our statehood traditions. However, the most glorious period in the history of Azerbaijan began from the day when the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev founded the independent Azerbaijani state. He began to build an independent Azerbaijan during the Soviet era in 1969, when he was elected chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Azerbaijani SSR. During his presidency, the Azerbaijani SSR changed from an agricultural country to an industrial country. A large number of new jobs, factories and plants have been put into operation in the country. During this period, Heydar Aliyev carried out fundamental reforms in the field of education and science to ensure sustainable and sustainable development. In the early 1980s, he was one of the leaders of the USSR, and nevertheless paid special attention to the development of Azerbaijan and the well-being of the Azerbaijani people. Although we gained independence after the overthrow of the Soviet government in Azerbaijan, the reluctance of the political authorities of that time led to the country's disintegration, chaos and anarchy. In this case, the people saw the way out in the return of Heydar Aliyev to power. Therefore, he was invited to Baku from Nakhchivan. The great leader Heydar Aliyev, who voted for the people, came to power again and laid the foundation for a new era in the history of independent Azerbaijan - a bright future. Practical reforms have been implemented in foreign and domestic policy. Chaos and anarchy were eliminated. The country was saved from destruction. During 1994, the "Agreement of the Century" defining Azerbaijan's oil strategy and the "Ceasefire" were reached with Armenia, which will turn Azerbaijan into a victorious country in the future. Reforms in all areas Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, a worthy successor and political successor of the great leader Heydar Aliyev in the XXI centuryis successfully continued by. As a result, our country's international prestige and relations with world powers are rising to a high level. Heydar Aliyev's far-sighted policy resulted in the liberation of our occupied lands in 2020. Within 44 days, under the leadership of Muzaffar Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the brave Azerbaijani army liberated 20 percent of our territories occupied by Armenians. Thus, we have restored our internationally recognized borders on our own. Of course, all this is the result of a long-term, far-sighted and forward-looking successful policy. Today, the pace of development in Azerbaijan is satisfactory. As a representative of the Azerbaijani youth, I believe that the policy founded by the great leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, formed on the basis of our national interests, will always develop Azerbaijan and lead to a bright future!
