The process of admitting students to lyceums and gymnasiums for the 2022-2023 academic year ends tomorrow.

The Ministry of Education told Tehsil.biz that applications for participation in the centralized entrance exams for lyceums and gymnasiums will be accepted through the sy.edu.az portal until June 9. Parents must submit an application through the portal through the "Personal Cabinet" of their child by selecting the section "Registration for the Centralized Exam" from 3 different options for admission to lyceums and gymnasiums. During registration, parents have the opportunity to choose the examination center (building) that is closer and more suitable for them. Students will first take a centralized entrance exam, and then choose the lyceums or gymnasiums they want to study according to their score. During the exam, students will be given tasks to test their knowledge of mathematical logic, along with the Azerbaijani language and mathematics.

Exam dates for high schools and gymnasiums are as follows:

• June 17 - admission to the 5th grade (currently for students in the 4th grade);

• June 18 - admission to the 6th grade (currently for students in the 5th grade);

• June 19 - admission to VII grades (currently for students in VI grade);

• June 20 - Admission to VIII and IX grades (currently for students in VII and VIII grades).
