An information event on the project "Establishment of the Conference of Rectors in Azerbaijan" (ECAR) was held within the ERASMUS + KA2 program implemented with the financial support of the European Union and partnered by Lankaran State University (LSU).

Rector of LSU, Professor Natig Ibrahimov spoke about the importance of the ECAR project in expanding cooperation between higher education institutions. He said that in recent years, significant work has been done at LSU to modernize education and bring it into line with European standards, and significant progress has been made.

Rector of Baku Business University, Professor Ibad Abbasov spoke in detail about the work done within the ECAR project, the importance of partnership with foreign universities, the application of experience gained during mutual visits.

Project Coordinator Gulshan Bayramova informed the participants about the importance and purpose of the project, local and European partners and the contribution of the forthcoming Rectors' Conference to the development of higher education in Azerbaijan. Noting that the ERASMUS + KA2 project has led to significant achievements in the field of cooperation, communication and networking in Azerbaijani universities, the coordinator called on the participants to take an active part in the project and take the initiative.
