A criminal case has been initiated in Gabala regarding the electrocution of an 11-year-old boy.

It was reported that on July 28, around 09:00, the district prosecutor's office received information about the death of Agshin Agasiyev, born in 2011, as a result of electric shock in the territory of Bum settlement, Gabala region.

Investigations revealed that Agshin Agasiyev died on the spot as a result of an electric shock when he grabbed an electric wire passing by the river with both hands.

In connection with the fact, a criminal case has been initiated in the Gabala District Prosecutor's Office under Article 314.2 of the Criminal Code (when negligence or recklessness causes the death of the victim or other serious consequences).

Currently, the investigation in the case continues.
