Acceptance of student loan applications for the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year continues.

This was reported by the Ministry of Science and Education.

Applicants and students can apply to the electronic system (www.e-ttkf.edu.az) with a notarized application to receive an education loan. Applications are accepted every day, including holidays and weekends.

It should be noted that this is the document acceptance conducted for the 3rd semester since the date of the start of the Education Student Loan Fund. So far, more than 6,800 educational loan contracts have been formalized with students who meet the selection criteria based on the number of places provided by the universities based on up to 11,000 electronic applications received by the Fund, and the relevant funds have been paid to the educational institution.

The duration of the education student loan depends on the student's educational level and level of education.

This loan is provided with state support at very low interest rates and for a long period (15-22 years, depending on the level of education). Thus, an educational loan can be given to a student at the bachelor's level of higher education for 14-21 years, at the master's level for 12-18 years, and for a student studying at the secondary level and vocational education level for 12-19 years. No collateral or guarantee is required when providing an education student loan. In order to receive the loan, the student must be fully involved in teaching and receive full-time education. The said loan is given per semester and those with academic debt cannot take advantage of it. The education student loan is long-term and the student is not required to pay back the loan and no interest is charged during the study period. Discounts are applied depending on the results of education in the calculation of interest on the loan and repayment of the loan. The student repays the loan after graduation and the end of the grace period.
