The body of soldier Khudiyev Samir Samad oghlu, who was martyred as a result of falling on a piece of rock that broke off from steep cliffs while performing his military duty in a difficult terrain area in Lachin region on August 5, was handed over to his family.

Tehsil.biz informs that the martyr's brother Rasul Khudiyev told "Qafqazinfo" that Samir was a soldier for 13 months.

"It was five months before Samir's discharge. He was a very exemplary soldier, he served in the Commando. First, he served in Gusar and continued his service in Lachin since last September. I learned the news of my brother's martyrdom when I was at work, I saw it on Instagram. Samir's classmate sent me the information from one of the pages. There was no picture, I didn't believe it when I saw the name, I quickly came home and saw that people had gathered in front of the house. They called and told my first uncle because there was a problem with my father's health. Samir was my only confidant, now I don't know who I will share my pain with."

It should be noted that Samir Khudiyev, originally from the village of Ahmadalilar, Fuzuli, graduated from secondary school number 137 named after Elshan Maharramov, Sabunchu district.
