"In 2018, only 18 percent of children were involved in school preparation courses, but this year this figure has reached 84 percent."

Director of the Institute of Education Rufat Azizov said this in his statement to journalists.

He said that this indicator is shown by international organizations as an example to other countries:

"By 2026, all 5-year-old children will be enrolled in preparatory courses, and at least 50 percent of 1-5-year-old children will be enrolled in preschool educational institutions. New methodologies for preschool education are currently being developed by the Institute of Education."
