BSU will cooperate with Tashkent State Law University

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Tashkent State Law University.

 

Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations Huseyn Mammadov, Dean of the Faculty of Law Amir Aliyev, Head of the International Relations Department Rauf Hasanov, Rector of Tashkent State Law University Rahim Hakimov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Continuing Education Dilshod Umarov, Faculty of Law Dean Dildora Kamalova and Head of the International Relations Department Aybek Yagubov were present.

 

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the establishment of new relations between the two universities in the field of education and research in order to expand international cooperation between the universities.

 

Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev said that BSU attaches special importance to international cooperation and development of mutual relations. He gave detailed information about the new international relations recently established by BSU and the development of research at the University. Speaking about the existing dual degree projects, he suggested strengthening cooperation in this direction and actively working on dual degree projects in the future.

 

The rector of Tashkent State Law University stressed that they will make efforts to expand bilateral cooperation and are interested in cooperation and the implementation of a dual degree project to increase the number of Azerbaijani students studying at the university.

 

During the meeting, BSU and Tashkent State Law University reached a bilateral agreement on faculty and student exchange, organization of bilateral joint symposia, seminars and conferences, cooperation in joint research projects, courses and curricula.

 

In the end, a memorandum on inter-university cooperation was signed.
