The closing and awarding ceremony of the nationwide web programming competition organized by the WorldSkills Azerbaijan platform was held on July 13.

 

At the ceremony, the guests were informed about the web programming competition and the WorldSkills Azerbaijan platform in general.

 

Afterwards, Parviz Yusifov, Director of the State Agency for Vocational Education, Vusal Khanlarov, Head of the Education System Informatization Department, Fariz Ismayilzadeh, Executive Vice-Rector of ADA University, and Emin Akhundov, Microsoft Azerbaijan Education Program Manager, participated in the Digitalization of Education: What's in Perspective? A panel discussion was held on the topic. Speakers stressed that digitalization has become an integral part of education in the XXI century, and this process is observed in all areas of education in our country.

 

At the end of the event, Deputy Minister of Education Idris Isayev awarded the winners of the competition and presented them with valuable gifts.

 

It should be noted that the web programming competition, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the State Agency for Vocational Education, sponsored by ATL Tech, ATL Academy, AzEduNet and the Baku State Vocational Training Center for Industry and Innovation, was organized by WorldSkills. "is the first competition held in accordance with the model. The winners of the competition will have the opportunity to participate in the world's most prestigious skills Olympiad and represent Azerbaijan at the international level.

 

WorldSkills Azerbaijan is a national platform for the development of professionalism and skills. In October last year, Azerbaijan joined the WorldSkills movement, which promotes professional skills at the international level.
