An employee of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology Yashar Nuriyev's textbook "The role of receptive speech activities in a foreign language in the communication process" has been published.

 The scientific editor of the book is Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy Amrali Shiraliyev. The reviewers of the textbook are Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Honored Teacher Bilal Hasanli, Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology, Associate Professor Jeyhun Aliyev, Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy, Senior Teacher Jala Mehraliyeva.

The book consists of two chapters. The first chapter examines the differences and similarities between the concept of communication and communication, the role of communication in ensuring communication, as well as issues related to pedagogical communication as a form of interaction, the views and opinions of researchers are interpreted with the author's intervention.

The second chapter examines the characteristics and types of hearing, the differences between hearing and listening, the role and characteristics of the models used in the process of speech perception in communication situations. It also identifies the role of the technical and content aspects of reading as a type of receptive speech activity in the communication process, and discusses the characteristics of the models that serve to comprehend and comprehend the text in the reading process.
