The Ministry of Science and Education responded to allegations that Minister Emin Amrullayev said "Schools do not provide education and we know it" in a meeting with school principals in Baku.

According to the information of "Tehsil.biz", the head of the public relations sector of the ministry, Jasarat Valehov, said that the false opinions expressed about the meeting on many social media accounts were taken out of context and were not true.

He noted that on Saturday last week, the Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev met with school principals in Baku city:

"During the meeting, the issues arising from the relevant Decree of the President of the country Ilham Aliyev regarding the additions to the salary of the teaching staff, the authority of the school principal, school-community relations, professional development within the school, factors affecting the learning environment in the school, and certification were exchanged and questions were answered against this background. We would like to say that regarding the false opinions expressed about that meeting on many social media accounts, what has been mentioned is taken out of context and does not correspond to the truth. Please do not circulate the news by referring to unknown sources without checking their integrity."
