The decision to suspend full-time education in schools was made not only on the basis of a survey, but also taking into account scientific analysis and research. Of course, it is impossible to satisfy all the desires in the decision-making process.

The statement came from Education Minister Emin Amrullayev, Tehsil.biz reports.

The Minister noted that according to forecasts, the number of infections in schools was expected to increase: “Schools gradually moved to distance learning. At the same time, the issue of attendance was on the agenda. As the number of infections increased, parents did not send their children to school. In addition, we conducted a survey to find out the views of the public. This was not unequivocally welcomed. Although some parents wanted to send their children to school, many were in favor of distance education. Therefore, I think the decision was made in time. "

According to Amrullayev, if the number of cases of COVID-19 decreases in the coming weeks, the Ministry of Education will be one of the most interested parties in wanting to return to full-time education: “The public must understand the situation. We need to think about protecting the health of both teachers and elderly parents. Some people may be dissatisfied with the decision. We need to make a more balanced decision. Different schools in the regions transfer to distance education when there are cases of infection. Every day there are schools that transfer to distance education.
