The State Examination Center, with the support of St. Petersburg State University (SPDU), has launched the project "Improvement of assessment tools in the Russian language", and the first session of online training within the project took place on April 12. At the first session, official documents on the test and measurement materials of the TRKI exam (programs and standards for the subject of Russian as a foreign language), CEFR were presented.

The training covers April 12-30, 2021 and will last 3 weeks. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills on the following topics:

theoretical concepts in the assessment of language skills;

● Application of the Panel Framework for Languages (CEFR) to language skills assessment;

● assessment of grammar and vocabulary;

● Assess reading, listening, writing and speaking at different levels.

It should be noted that the participants of the project are the experts of the Ministry of Education and Science on the subject of Russian as a foreign language and Russian language teachers selected on the basis of a previously announced competition.

The trainer for the project "Improvement of assessment tools in Russian" are specialists in Russian language assessment of SPDU.
