afar Museyib oglu Guluzadeh, a consultant-professor of the Astrophysics Department of the Physics Faculty of Baku State University (BSU), has died.

Jafar Guluzadeh, who died at the age of 85, began teaching at Baku State University in 1969.

From 1997 to 2019 he worked as the head of the Department of Astrophysics. He is the author of more than 230 scientific articles and about 15 books.
